Activities of Society
The Association of Engineering Mathematics
teachers were formed in 1996 later changed to
Engineering Mathematics Teachers Society,
India (EMTSI) with the aim of encouraging the interest in the subject of mathematics. EMTSI has conducted workshop and seminars
related to mathematics for the teachers and students to promote interest in mathematics. Also, EMTSI has always encouraged
the active participation from teachers and students in seminars and workshops related to the subject of mathematics. EMTSI
has also created a platform to encourage the research/discussions in mathematics.
1. One day workshop on Magic Mathematics jointly organized by AEMT and RAIT, Nerul on April 8, 2006.
2. Guest lecture on Applications of Number Theory in Engineering jointly organized by AEMT and SPCOE, Andheri on July
13, 2019.
3. Engineering Mathematics Applications Project Competition (EMAPCO) 2020
4. Recently a FDP on "Research and Current Trends in Mathematics ” from 26th December to 31st December 2020.The
FDP is aimed to motivate Mathematics faculty to do research in Mathematics. This FDP will also help them to gain the knowledge
about current research topics in various areas of Mathematics. This will help them to get ideas about the topics in which
they are interested and choose topics for their research. This FDP was organized in collaboration with PCE, New Panvel.
